Ch-ch-ch-changes!

I know, I know....I've been a little behind on my blog...(shrugging shoulders). It has been a little too long between posts, they are random at best, and I STILL haven't posted many sessions! BUT I do have a good excuse. I promise. I have been a little distracted because I have been working on a new website and blog!

That being said, it will be done by April 1st....

My next "post" will be when it goes live! Yeah!

I adore this family - we had a good time taking these, and they had fun with each other (a.k.a. CONSTANT teasing...I felt right at home!) Oh, and the grandkids are the cutest little ones ever. Some random favorites...

How adorable are they? Family F were sweethearts. I'm tellin' you though, those boys sure had to be bribed to do the "kissing the sister's cheek" shot (5 down :). It was hilarious...

I get the opportunity to meet wonderful people through taking photos for a living. But I equally love photographing people I already know! Family S are good friends of my husband and I. I truly, truly ADORE them. They have the best personalites (including little Miss G, as you can see from the pictures). Love you guys!

Chelsea and Abraham

Chelsea and Abraham have been married for several years and wanted to have some updated pictures. They were great - their personalities are fantastic and they had me cracking up! I'm so glad I met them :).

on a personal note...

I am so happy to announce the arrival of my daughter, Ainsley! As some of you know (especially those who had shoots with me and my big ole' belly :), my hubby and I were expecting her on December 30th. Well, she came on her due date, and things are going well so far! She's really good to us.

I took a break from shoots for a few weeks, but I am currently booking for shoots starting in February. Thanks for all your well-wishes and patience while I took some time to spend with her. Hopefully we'll talk soon!

A little bit ago, I did a portrait setting with Family K. I had the opportunity to work with them again, and this time, with their extended family. How gorgeous are they?! My jaw just about dropped when I saw how photogenic they are...

Chase & Destiny's Formals

One of the latest trends is for brides to include their grooms in their bridal portraits. I must say....I LOVE it. Why not just go for it? You end up getting pretty much double the photos of you and your sweetie (and we still take lots of just the bride :).
